Down Syndrome Ireland is dedicated to being the primary source of information and support to people with Down syndrome, their families and the professional community.
We are working towards an improved quality of life for our members along with a respect and acceptance of people with Down syndrome as valued members of Irish society.
What's Involved
Are you friendly and love to be out in your community, and are you looking for a quick but VERY important volunteer opportunity?
We're excited to host another Dunnes Stores Bag Pack this year on Friday 18th and Saturday 19th May, and YOU can be an important part of it!
This May Bag Pack is even MORE important to us this year, as it was originally scheduled for March but was cancelled due to the Beast from the East. So help us really make a difference for children and adults with Down syndrome all across Ireland and raise funds this May!
As Bag Packer, you would pack customers' grocery bags and raise funds. These customers are always very supportive and friendly with our cause, so you will have a wonderful time during your 2-hour shift.
You can volunteer at any of the below 11 Dunnes Stores locations from 11am-1pm, 1pm-3pm, 3pm-5pm or 5pm-7pm. Bring along your friends and have a great time. Get in touch with Emilee at Down Syndrome Ireland to learn more.
