About Crosscare
Crosscare is the social care agency of the Dublin Archdiocese delivering services to those who need them most within the greater Dublin area, working to relieve poverty and serve the needs of the poor and marginalised in the Archdiocese of Dublin. We offer a range of programmes based on innovative approaches to meet new and emerging needs for those affected by homelessness, the needs of young people, and the development of community driven services.
What's Involved
Everyone deserves a treat! Through offering your skills just one morning or afternoon a month you will be helping to encourage clients to look after their wellbeing by taking care and treating themselves! We hope that by taking little steps in self-care will make big differences in emotional wellbeing. Most importantly it is great fun in a relaxing environment meeting lovely people from all walks of life!
The Tasks involve:
• To provide light massage to male & female clients. This would be done fully clothed and as part of pamper session group e.g. hand/neck/shoulders Hairdresser/Barber
• To engage with clients in friendly conversation and chat
• To help create a positive sociable atmosphere during pampering session
• To advise clients on well being and relaxation

- Personable Skills
Level of English required for this role:
Intermediate English
