About The Digital Skills Project
The Digital Skills project, funded by the North East Inner City Initiative, is a collaboration between the Dublin City Public Libraries & CoderDojo Foundation to provide inner city communities access to computer literacy & learning opportunities.
Mentors will be asked to facilitate children learning computer programming, with an emphasis on encouraging self-directed learning. As many of the initiatives' beneficiaries have little to no access to computers outside of their time at the library, instruction on some elements of basic computer literacy may be required.
