About Crosscare
Crosscare is the social care agency of the Dublin Archdiocese delivering services to those who need them most within the greater Dublin area, working to relieve poverty and serve the needs of the poor and marginalised in the Archdiocese of Dublin. We offer a range of programmes based on innovative approaches to meet new and emerging needs for those affected by homelessness, the needs of young people, and the development of community driven services.
What's Involved
Have a few hours to spare in the morning to accompany and assist our Crosscare foodbank driver in D11 distribute food donations to communities experiencing food poverty? 1-2 shifts p/wk.
Mon:10am-1pm
Tues: 1pm-3pm, every 2nd
Wed 8am-12
Thurs: 8am-10
Fri 8am-9.30am
Tasks include:
•To assist with the collection and distribution of donated stock.
•To accompany foodbank driver to donors/community foodbanks
•To assist with loading and unloading of van.
*Please note this volunteer opportunity is physically demanding. Manual handling and health and safety training provided.

We are looking for friendly outgoing volunteers who are flexible and supportive with our donors/staff in a very busy environment
