What's Involved

Have you got a listening ear?

A volunteer is needed for 2 hours each week to make phone calls to our older members. Hours are flexible and days are Monday - Friday.

A friendly chat on the phone can make all the difference. Volunteers are needed to call our elderly friends. Calls can be made from your own home or our office in Bolton Street between 10am and 8pm. We would be delighted if volunteers could make calls for an hour or two each week as we have many members on our lists. We are particularly looking for people who will make calls weekly from home, can be made from nationwide or come into our office each week to make calls.

The calls are to check in, chat or just listen and sign post any worries to the team for follow up.
