What's Involved

Table Tennis Ireland is looking for a new Secretary Board member.

1. Issue notices and agendas to Directors re Board and other Directors’ meetings and officers re officers’ meetings
2. Convene and attend all General Meetings, as required
3. Attend Directors’ meetings and officers’ meeting; ensure that accurate reports are made of decisions taken and accurate minutes are prepared
4. Receive and ensure the appropriate distribution of all correspondence; ensure that responses are made within timelines agreed with the Chairman and the TTI Board
5. Respond to all correspondence on behalf of the TTI Board on his/her own initiative and/or on the direction of the Chairman
6. Manage the affairs of the association with assistance of staff to the satisfaction of the Chairman and the TTI Board
7. Liaise with international governing bodies of the sport
8.Corporate Governance

What's required for this position

Person should have legal or accountancy background and/or experience at Director level Limited Company.

Level of English required for this role:
Fluent English
