About Cork Nature Network
Cork Nature Network is a Registered Company Limited by Guarantee. It’s a not-for-profit organisation. It was established in 2015 by an experienced and enthusiastic team. It is wholly run by volunteers.
The aim of Cork Nature Network is to benefit the community of Cork by promoting and encouraging the conservation of wildlife and habitats in Cork City and County by educating and increasing the awareness of the need for conservation.
Cork Nature Network is a registered charity. It was established in 2015 by a group of enthusiastic nature lovers. The organisation has a focus on working locally and increasing awareness of wildlife protection and conservation of species and habitats. The ethos is that everyone can be involved and learn about wildlife.
The committte role looking to be filled is for someone with experience in Events co-ordinator. The person taking on this role will be an important brand ambassador for Cork Nature Network.
Cork Nature Network is looking for someone who ideally has experience of setting up events from scratch or is willing to learn and has the motivation, commitment and reliability to see the event lifecycle through.
The role will be overseeing the West Cork events team and overseeing events for Cork City and the rest of the county. Cork Nature Network focuses on festivals, national weeks etc and has established links with many organisations and potential event leaders.
What's required for this position
Good communication skills and willingness to learn new skills required.
