About The Calvary Project
The Calvary at Omeath has been a place of pilgrimage for many years, especially for people in need of healing. The Calvary includes historic Way of the Cross, the Shrine of St. Jude, the beautiful Lourdes Grotto, the image of the Divine Mercy and the Fr. Gentili Crypt, and the Fr Luigi Gentilli Gardens all making up a place of peace and prayer.
What's Involved
We would be delighted to acquire the assistance of a volunteer to assist with designing a small stretch of land in the Fr Luigi Gentili garden at the Calvary Project.
The garden is a beautiful piece of land overlooking Carlingford Lough and the Mournes, and we would love for a skilled garden designer to conceptualise this patch of land into a piece where the nearscape compliments the beautiful farscape of the area.
Volunteers would be asked to give any time possible to complete the project.
