What's Involved

With over 10,000 fatalities throughout Ireland from Heart disease and stroke, this is Ireland’s greatest killers.

Irish Heart are holding a national bagpack as part of their Happy Heart Appeal on 14th February 2019. They are seeking a volunteer to coordinate this bagpack in Drogheda.
Duties Include
- Assisting with the recruitment of volunteers
- Draw up volunteer roster and communicate with volunteers and groups of volunteers, including TY students
- Distribute bucket collection materials to specific shops
- Check volunteers are in position and comfortable in their locations
- Empty buckets on a regular basis and store monies collected securely

What's required for this position

Excellent organisational and communication skills
Self motivated individual

  • Event management/ Fundraising
  • Personable Skills

Level of English required for this role:
Intermediate English
