Dublin Simon Community works to prevent and address homelessness in Dublin, Kildare, Wicklow and Meath. We provide services at all stages of homelessness and enable people to move to a place they can call home.
Want to help the homeless during Christmas while enjoying live music and beautiful light show?
We are looking for fundraising volunteers for the event of Simon House of Light (Bucket shaking on South William St, Dublin 2)
on December 6th, 7th, & 8th.
This event features a host of live music on the steps of Powerscourt Shopping Centre while a beautiful animated light show is projected onto the building. Volunteers will be collecting donations from on-lookers and passers-by throughout the evenings. This is one of the nicest events we host each year.
The shifts are 5pm – 7.30pm, and / or 7.30pm – 10 pm each day.
What's required for this position
This position requires volunteers to engage directly with the public. So it's impotent to be confident, outgoing and positive.
