About Rathcoole Community Centre

The Centre is run by volunteer directors elected each year at an AGM.
It provides and maintains facilities for sporting activities, meetings and functions for the residents of Rathcoole.
It houses an Irish speaking pre-school and after-school group and a different English pre-school group. It also provides rooms to Community IT Rathcoole.
The Community Centre is very busy and has its own CE Scheme + some TUS employees.
It is a very busy Centre, catering for, in excess of 42 groups.
We also produce a local newsletter.

What's Involved

Rathcoole Tidy Towns are seeking a volunteer to paint a mural on hoarding in front of an old cottage on the main street in Rathcoole. The theme of the mural would be of an old cottage.
Initial designs will be approved by the Tidy Towns Committee and materials can be purchased for the volunteer(s) if needed.
This role is very flexible in terms of the volunteer's time however it is hoped that it could be completed relatively soon.
The artist will work with the Tidy Towns Committee which is part of Rathcoole Community Council.
further wall art projects may follow.

What's required for this position

The artist would need to have past experience with similar projects and be able to show previous work.
The artist would also need to have the time to complete the mural in a timely manner.
