Stock Sorter - Helping to Manage Donations

Dublin Simon Community

About Dublin Simon Community

Dublin Simon Community works to prevent and address homelessness in Dublin, Kildare, Wicklow, Meath, Louth, Cavan and Monaghan. We provide services at all stages of homelessness and enable people to move to a place they can call home.

What's Involved

To manage the volume of donations that we receive, we are looking for volunteers to help sort through donations and get them ready for wear or sale as soon as possible.

Generous individuals donate unwanted items that go to our shops and also to our rough sleeper team. Our warehouse is located in Chapelizod. It is here that the donations of clothing and items for Dublin Simon are stored before being distributed.

By supporting Sorting Simon’s Stock, you are ensuring donated items, such as clothes, toiletries, gifts, and toys, are sorted more efficiently and reach our shops and the people who need them most, faster!

We have limited resources, therefore your support to Dublin Simon ensures we get the true value from the items given by our generous donors. You will be working along with our dedicated team of shop staff and volunteers.
