About North Dublin MABS CLG
The Money Advise and Budgeting Service (MABS) operates from over 60 offices nationwide. The MABS offices operate an appointment scheduling system and each service is staffed by experienced Money Advisers who work with clients experiencing difficulties with a wide range of personal debts including personal loans, mortgages, credit card debt, catalogue debts, debts to legal moneylenders and hire purchases.
What's Involved
Expressions of interest are being sought for the positions of Directors by North Dublin MABS CLG.
North Dublin MABS is a Regional company in the national MABS network, which covers a large geographic or urban area. The Regional Company is a registered charity and led by a Regional Manager reporting to a voluntary Board of Directors and funded through a service level agreement with the Citizens Information Board.
Expressions of interest are sought from candidates who possess skills and experiences in any of the following areas :
Human Resources,
Community and Voluntary Organisations,
Legal,
Public Sector,
Governance and Strategy Development.
Board meetings take place every 2 months, with a commitment for sub-committee work on alternative months. Board meetings take place in the North Dublin region and are currently early morning.
These are voluntary Boards of Management. No fees will be paid to Board members, however, travel and subsistence expenses will be paid when applicable.
