What's Involved

Oxfam Ireland have exciting opportunities to get involved in VOLUNTEERING in the biggest fashion events of 2019, FASHION RELIEF. Be part of the action and VOLUNTEER; join us for a shift, join us for a day or join us for the weekend.

In its first year FASHION RELIEF 2018 hosted at the RDS, Dublin was a huge success. Powered by over 150 volunteers, raising a whooping €60,000 for people in extreme poverty.

This year Oxfam are going event bigger by running Fashion Relief in 3 cities adding Cork and Galway to the line-up in 2019.

The events offer the public the unique opportunity to bag a bargain from the wardrobe of Ireland’s style icons or get your hands on designer and high street must haves all in aid of a good cause.

There will be catwalk shows during the day, showcasing coveted designer items, with lots more exciting announcements to come. FASHION RELIEF 2019, Cork will be hosted in Cork City Hall on Sunday 17th February. So don’t wait register today and help change lives for the better:

Saturday 16th February– In preparation for the event, we are seeking volunteers to assist with set-up–a great opportunity to get a sneak peak of what will be on offer to purchase the following day and reserve your FREE TICKET to the event.

Sunday 17th February – Be part of the action at the event itself by crewing one of our many exciting fashion stalls selling celebrity-owned fashions and high-end pieces, help keep the stalls stock and keep the show running.

What's required for this position

Friendly, willing to work as part of a team, interest in fashion or events
