About The Hope Foundation
Hope is a registered Irish charity (CHY 13237) and works for the development of street children in Kolkata (formally Calcutta) through Protection, Education, Healthcare, Counselling, Children's rights awareness, vocational training and reintegration into family life. Set up in 1999 in Cork by Maureen Forrest (Hon. Director), The Hope Foundation has given over 200,000 children to date a brighter future ensuring greater numbers of Kolkata’s street and slum children enjoy their basic rights to protection, education, healthcare and nutritious food.
What's Involved
Volunteers will be working at the drinks stages at the upcoming concert series.
All the volunteers will be required to be at the venue at 4.15pm for training, with free transport departing from Heuston Station at 3.45pm
Volunteers will be either serving poured pints, soft drinks or wine.
Upcoming Concerts:
• Saturday 8th June: Slane Castle, Metallica
Tea, coffee and snacks will be provided along with the opportunity to enjoy the remainder of the concert once the bar is closed and cleaned.
What's required for this position
All volunteers must be over 18, with a friendly nature. A keen interest in The Hope Foundation would be an advantage.
