What's Involved

Assist the Placement Team with their overall goal; to support people in Dublin to find suitable and rewarding volunteering experiences. The role will involve:

  • Following-up with people who are registered with Dublin City Volunteer Centre.
  • Contacting volunteers on our Salesforce CRM database via text and email to gather feedback on their applications.
  • Keeping detailed records of interactions with volunteers on the database system.
  • Liaising with Volunteer Centre staff members to report updates.

    What's required for this position

  • An interest in helping others get started volunteering.
  • Proven attention to detail.
  • Fluent written English is essential and experience responding to queries via email is desirable.
  • You must be comfortable using the internet and emails. We use Outlook 365. A high level of comfort with using the internet is the best indicator that you can use our Salesforce CRM.
  • Friendly manner.
  • Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
  • Respect for confidentiality of data.
  • Experience of databases and Mac computers would be a great advantage.

    Minimum time commitment: 3 months

    Hours required: 4hrs Twice per week
