What's Involved

Summertime can be a long and lonely experience for young people, particularly for those who may not have a large social circle or who may experience isolation, as a result of a learning or developmental need, such as Autism.
Foróige would like to offer young people an opportunity to participate in Pop Up Foróige Events over the summer time, to break an otherwise quiet and isolating few months.
These one day events and also a one week summer programme style event, have a maximum of 4 hour duration per session and have a variety of themes (Hike, Treasure Hunt, Art, Animation, Drama, Music, Tai Chi, trip to Sealife in Bray)
Your role as a Foróige Leader in these Pop Up Events, will be to work with the Foróige Staff Officer, to help in the arrangements of the chosen theme of the Pop Up Event, to create a fun and pleasant atmosphere for participants and to ensure each Pop Up Event runs smoothly!
