About Concern Worldwide
Concern Wordwide is an international organisation dedicated to reducing suffering and working towards elimination of extreme poverty.
What's Involved
Concern has been asked to provide Volunteers at the finish line of The Rock and Roll Half Marathon. All that is required is to hand out medals, water, and a few bananas on Sunday 12th August.
Time Commitment
We will be meeting at the car park of the Royal Hospital Kilmainham at 8.30am and will finish at 1.30pm (max).
Benefit to Concern
For every Volunteer we provide, WE RECEIVE €40!
€40 can provide a full 6-week Ready-to-Use Therapeutic Food to Children under the age of 5- this can change a child’s life forever, will you help us achieve this?
What's required for this position
Ability to stand for a long period of time, personal, and willing to get stuck in. A big part of the day will require fun energetic people, the runners running the Half Marathon have trained long hours and we want to make sure they enjoy every aspect of the run, so a good set of lungs would be great to cheer them on.
