About Carrickmacross Community Allotments
Carrickmacross Community Allotments have taken a 3/4 of an acres site which was derelict just over 7 years ago and transformed the area into a valuable community amenity. The allotments are an area where fresh fruit, vegetables and flowers are grown while members of the community come together to achieve their shared goals.
Carrickmacross Community Allotments are located close to the Phoenix Sports Centre, on the edge of the town centre. The allotments has apples trees, other fruit trees, a sensory garden, flower beds and over 400 meters of pathways.
