Shop Assistant (Drogheda)

Society of St. Vincent de Paul Drogheda

About Society of St. Vincent de Paul Drogheda

Vincent de Paul is the largest charitable organisation in Ireland. Our focus is on a practical approach to dealing with poverty, alleviating its effects on individuals and families through working primarily in person to person contact through our unique system of family visitation.
We have 180 shops nationwide, 5 of which are in the local Drogheda area. The shops are an important aspect of the service SVP offer and they provide an income source for the society which is recycled back into the community.
The society recognises the importance of further education particularly for people who live in disadvantaged circumstances. The Higher Education & Training Bursary has been put in place to help those people progress to third level education.
Some of the other services we provide are day care centres for the elderly, youth development programmes, holiday centres and resource centres to name but a few.
