About The Hunt Museum

The Hunt Museum exhibits one of Ireland's greatest private collections of art and antiquities, dating from the Neolithic to the 20th Century, including works by Renoir, Picasso and Yeats

What's Involved

The volunteers will work with the camp coordinator to deliver the camps at the museum. You will be working with children from the age of five up. You will be assisting in the day to day running of the camps, dealing with camp registration, as well as helping to deliver the arts, crafts and other fun activities on offer.This year we have puppetry, sculpture, book design, digital story telling and much more on offer. Summer camps run from the first week of July to the 21st of Aug. There are six sessions running Monday to Friday: 6-10 JULY, 13-17 JULY, 20-24 JULY, 27-31 JULY, 10-14 AUG, 17-21 AUG. It is best if volunteers can commit to a full session (Mon-Fri). Please let us know what session you can volunteer for in you application.

What's required for this position

Experience working with children.Experience of teaching or assisting with arts and crafts workshops/classes. Friendly, personable nature. All volunteers will need to read and become familiar with our child protection policy.
