About Clare Community Games
The Clare Community Games is a voluntary organization It is affiliated to the national Community Games organisation, providing opportunities for children and young people to grow and develop in a positive and healthy way while experiencing a wide range of sporting and cultural activities. Community Games is non political and non-sectarian and operates at four levels - Area, County, Provincial and National.
What's Involved
Clare Community Games provides sporting and cultural activities for children under 16 years. Activities range from Art and Athletics to Soccer and Singing.
They are currently looking for a volunteer to assist in managing their Website and Facebook page as well as their Twitter account. The tasks would include:-
To promote the organisation via website providing information on upcoming events etc. Maintain the Facebook page and keep it up to date. Upload photos and results following various events. Pass on enquiries received via the webpage or social media. Maintain the Twitter account. The volunteer should ideally have some basic skills in using content management systems (e.g. Wordpress, Joomla etc.) and be very familiar with Facebook and Twitter. Knowledge of FTP and HTML would be an advantage.

What's required for this position
The volunteer should be organised and have acess to their own computer.
Good communications skills and well able to work on their own initiative.
The ability of using content management systems (e.g. Wordpress, Joomla etc.).
Knowledge of Facebook and Twitter is very important.
Knowledge of FTP and HTML would be an advantage.
Level of English required for this role:
Fluent English
Minimum time commitment: 1 year
