What's Involved

We are looking for a Meals on Wheels Delivery Person to join our team for approx 45 minutes per week. Using their own car, they call to the Kitchen at 11.45am and pick up approx 8 meals to be delivered in an area less than 5 miles from Sligo town. They may be the only contact for the meal recipient that day. Each volunteer will receive induction and travel with another volunteer to learn the route. Applicants will need a good level of English in order to understand the Health and Safety statement (very important for your safety) and to carry out Children First online training.

What's required for this position

The drivers need to be confidential reliable and friendly. On occasion they need to report back if concerned for a recipient.
