What's Involved
Help change lives and create brighter futures for some of the most vulnerable children across Ireland. Great opportunity to volunteer in our National Collection Day, kindly supported by Dell.
We need you on Friday 13th September 2019 to help with organised bag packs and on-street collections in communities across the country. For more information on this national fundraiser and what's happening in your area, click here.
This is a fun opportunity to take part in a very worthy cause. Not only will you be giving back to the community, you will also get the opportunity to meet people, make new friends, and establish new networks.
Main duties & tasks will include:
Acting as volunteer Team Leader at an agreed collection point in your community.
Engaging with members of the public to represent Barnardos and encourage donations.
Use fundraising materials to promote the campaign and the work of Barnardos.
There is the scope for flexibility in this role - you can either lead your team on site for the whole collection or simply start the collection off; assist with the changeover team during the day and then be there at the end to complete – we’d be happy to discuss options with you!!
